Hey so better late then never right. I have been reading just not blogging because I’ve been adulting when i would’ve been reading. Anyways the last two weeks have been awesome because I got to meet and get books signed by Victoria Aveyard, Sophie Jordan, Jodi Meadows (whom i am twitter BFFs with in my humble opinion) and Maggie Steifvater. All were super nice , Victoria and Sophie came to our local B&N and even did a Q&A before the signing. At the event yesterday (which already feels like a million years ago) we got to talk to and chat and get our books signed. (we drove an hour to get there and it was so worth it). Anyways I haven’t been reading as much as I’d like to cause school, classes, life but here are some short reviews of what I’ve been reading-

Alice in Zombieland- 4.5/5 I enjoyed this book way more then i thought I would. It’s a fun read and i got through it fairly quickly because the plot actually kept drawing me in. The main character’s name is Alice she loses her family in a car crash and is sent to live with her grandparents. ALice’s Dad was always afraid of the things going bump in the night but everyone just thought he was looney and just ignored it (except the family couldn’t leave the house at night, the one night they did Alice’s entire family was killed. When she starts her new school she has these insane and crazy visions that involve a tall, dark and handsome with a bad boy reputation that he sees too. Oh and Zombies, as Alice finds out are real.

Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard – I don’t want to write too much plot because of spoilers but it centers around Mare and her friends fighting the unjust king. The only reason it’s getting a 4.7 and not a 5 is because of the way it ended. I NEED THE NEXT BOOK IMMEDIATELY.

Glass Sword (Red Queen, #2)

SIx of Crows 5/5- Really did not think the book would live up to the hype surrounding it but it totally did. The book’s chapters rotate between characters which usually bothers me and it did not. The story was interesting the characters were flawed and yet all likable in my opinion. One of my new favorite books. The 6 main characters all decide to pull a heist that is almost impossible. I cannot wait for the next book to come out!

Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1)

OK so as to not make this post too long I’ll leave it at 3 books for this post with more on the way! I’m a little over halfway done with Truthwitch so that will definitely be included in my next post which will not take as long as this one. Promise.
